Sing, sign and stories

Meeting Tuesday afternoon, Sing, sign and stories is free and aimed at families who would like to a little more help with developing speaking, language and signing skills especially those who may of struggled with communication during lockdown or need a little extra support.

Each themed play group session will introduce around 10 signs using storytelling, games and a range of activities for under fives.

We know how important it is for our little ones to make thier own friends to share activities so they get ready for the adventures that lie ahead, like nursery, creche or meeting children and adults in everyday life.

Signing can help children with their speech development as it gives an anchor for the word or as an alternative way to communicate where speech is difficult or not available.

These sessions are designed for children from approximately 2- 5 years old but younger children can attend.
