Salt Dough Easter Eggs

Why not decorate your house this year with some homemade Salt Dough Easter Eggs. 

They only require 3 ingredients and are fun to make and decorate. 



1 Cup of Plain Flour
1/2 Cup of Salt 
1/2 Cup of Water 
Mix the flour and salt together and then add in the water slowly - keep adding and mixing until the mixture makes a firm dough. 
Roll out, cut out any shapes you like (We used egg shaped cutters but an adult can cut shapes free hand) 
If you are going to hang them up - before putting them in the oven poke a small hole in the top of the egg for the string or ribbon to go through. 
Place on a baking tray and bake on the lowest setting for 3 hours
Once cooked leave to completely cool and then decorate using paint and bio-gradable glitter - if you are brave enough!
