It's the night before the big day and I'm still up! I don't know if it's all the carbs I have been eating since the snow arrived or the anticipation of tomorrow. Either way, I really need to go to bed soon
But before I go, I thought I would post a pre-run report.
Since the snow arrived everyone has been on snow watch and glued to Twitter to see if the run would go ahead or not. Today we found out and thanks to the many marvellous Big Half volunteers, the route is clear and we are good to run.
After a week of no running and being stuck in doors with 2 noisy boys, I am ready to get my trainers out and my legs going. So today I have spent the day watching the athletics, enjoying down time with the family and eating yet more carbs. So all in all the best pre-race day you could ask for.
My kit is now all ready, my lucky socks dug out and the route to the start line double checked. I think I am all ready to rock and roll for the 1st Big Half through the streets of London.
Good luck to everyone taking part and to my fellow runners - we got this.
Remember, there is still time to sponsor the team in our quest to raise money to start a Baby Blues Choir.
