Whats on for September 21

We are re back for the Autumn/ Winter 2021 term with our free regular morning Stay and Play for you and your under fives to meet other families, enjoy fun activities and share our post lockdown parenting adventures. Now running Tuesday - Friday we are relaxing some rules (yes we are opening inside) so do keep checking with Aum.  Also back for this term in the afternoons are Speak Up (English Language), Baby Blues Choir, Sing, Sign and Stories and a whole host of new running groups across Greenwich.     Continue reading

Pump it Up release demo track

The kids from the Big Red Bus Club, Pump It Up summer music programme, as part of the National Lottery 25th anniversary celebration,  have released thier first music demo track. The band spent a whole week working with local musicians exploring different elements of music to compose thier own track based on thier experiences this year and hopes for the future.    Continue reading

Afternoon Openings

We are so happy to announce that we are now fully open for the rest of the term. As well as the morning Stay and Play from 10am -12pm every weekday and our specific projects, we are opening up every afternoon as well from 1pm-2.30pm!!! Thank you all for getting involved and helping us plan our activities out, many of you told us since April that lockdown has really had an impact on your whole family and we've listened - our afternoons will be targeting the areas of support you feel you need with activities that stretch us in fun exciting and innovative ways. So our Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, afternoons now look like: Tuesday is Free Mobility & Agility Wednesday is Free PlayThursday is Arts and Crafts  Everything is still free and all under fives are welcome, afternoon activities will be ideally suited to those kids starting new adventures in September or in the next year or so. Speak up

Speak Up is back our family under five English Language playgroup is back for families who aren't quite ready for sit down classes and formal ESOL education. Clare who is leading the project said; 'Its great to be back and meeting new families'  

Lockdown closure

The Big Red Bus Club will remain closed during this lockdown. Chicken pox notice March 2020

Last week we had a visitor who has now got chicken pox they would have been infectious at the time. Although we have all stepped up the hand washing and disenfecting please do keep an eye out for the signs, which as well as spots include: a high temperature above 38C aches and pains, and generally feeling unwell loss of appetite There is plenty more information on the NHS website.  https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/chickenpox/

Due to the ongoing and evolving situation around the Corona Virus we have decided to close our Stay and Plays and move our projects online.  We will be publishing online activities using Zoom and on our exsisting Facebook private groups so please keep an eye out for our activities on both platforms
